Render

you.runs-on.dev serving a Render web service, over HTTPS, via CNAME.

The record

domains/you.json

"records": { "CNAME": "you-service.onrender.com" }

Replace you-service with your service's own *.onrender.com hostname, shown at the top of the service page in the Render dashboard.

Steps

  1. Fork the registry and edit domains/you.json to the record above.
  2. Open a pull request. Once merged, the CNAME is synced to DNS automatically.
  3. In the Render dashboard: your service → Settings → Custom Domains → Add Custom Domain → you.runs-on.dev. Render verifies the CNAME and issues a certificate automatically.

How to tell it worked

Custom Domains shows the domain as verified once Render has confirmed the CNAME and issued a certificate. Visiting https://you.runs-on.dev should then serve the service.
